Loved it! Super friendly people. Thieves-proofed island. People actually leave their vehicles with keys attached outside their houses at nights. Amazing place to visit and stay.

Enggano Island is located 11 to 12 hours ship ride from the mainland, Bengkulu. To reach this place, you can either by ships or small plane. The ships fare are pretty cheap for the long ride. It costs 35 to 100 thousand rupiah, depending on the kind of the ship.nnPeople on this island are really friendly and very welcome to visitors.nnThere are not many hotels or hostels to stay but the people are more than welcome to give you place to stay.nnThis island is really beautiful. There are many places that are ready to be explored, from beaches to caves. If you are thinking of visiting this island, transportation will be a concern because there are no public transportations available unless you take your own vehicles from the mainland or renting one on the island. Prepare snacks, mosquitoes spray and sunblock.
