The Siti Nurbaya bridge is an icon of historical place in Padang.nThis bridge has a history about the forbidden marriage between Siti Nurbaya and Datuk Maringgih,the old rich man .Siti Nurbaya lost her true love, Syamsul Bahri. Siti Nurbaya's grave located in Padang Mountain.It's become a legend in Padang, West Sumatera.nThe place of the bridge is so clean.nThere are many sellers of corn baked, corn boiled , baked banana,etc.nThere are many lamps there.It is so amazing scenery.

One of the best places to visit in Padang.From the bridge one enjoys a beautiful view of the old town buildings and the boats docked all along the river. In the evenings and night, the bridge comes alive with many local food vendors selling their wares and people enjoying a stroll on it.nThis bridge lies in a part of the Padang city where tourists can catch a glimpse of the old Padang and how simple folks live. A must visit spot in Padang!

Not clean enough. To much stalls. No car park. But the view from the bridge is pretty good at night
