Nice place to visit with your friends or your family. Better come in the morning. Its just about one hour from the airport. There are many kinds of food, you can walking around the market or rent a boat to see the river bank. Its about Rp. 10.000 per person.

The best one floating market in town. The local here are friendly. It has a good view. Cheap price. Weekend will be full of visitor. But the toilet is so dirty and sometimes it doesn't work.

I am here in time for the festival. Usually they have a floating market here. Food usually start selling at around 630am. They have attractions like boat ride, festival, traditional food and snacks and even performance sometime. You can rent boat to go to monkey island for around 250k( which is extremely overpriced) should haggle like a local! Always.nnThe are many hertiage site along the river like watch tower, old house from 1925 etc.nnYou can access the watch tower from 9am onwards. You can also watch the firemen training themselves here.nnI heard you can bring your own jet ski here to play too. We manage to catch the coast guard doing some routine checks. Pretty coolnnSome of the highlights include lontong, you can choose either egg or fish to go with it. We chose the egg version, something light to warm up our cold morning stomach. (P.S) you can choose between chicken or duck egg.

I always love to visit this place when touring Banjarmasin. An attractive tŕaditional floating fruits market. Visit on Saturday or Sunday.
