Bandara Udara Wunopito (Wunopito Airport)

Wunopito Airport is the only airport in Lembata Regency. There are 2 airlines in services:nn1. Susi Air (Kupang-Lewoleba-Kupang) :nsmall plane (one-front copter), 12 passangers, serving morning flight (about 06.00 - 08.00 a.m.),nn2. Trans Nusa (Kupang-Lewoleba-Kupang) :nmedium-small plane (two copters in both wings), serving noon (about 09.00 - 13.00 a.m.) and afternoon (about 14.00 - 16.00 a.m.) flight.nnBoth airlines sometimes delayed or canceled due maintenance or bad weather. It's rather pricey than airlines from neighbouring regency. But, you don't have a choice if you want to go outside the island fast (better than using ship).nnUPDATE: Last time i moved away from Lembata in 30th August 2019, asusi Air was no more.

It is a small airport,only 2 airlines with small planes serve here everyday. It is on the seashore,along a beautiful white sandy beach

Tiny airport with limited facility, but newly renovated and the key entrance to Lembata island and hopefully it can enhance local tourism sector
