The best taste authentic local food of Pekalongan City, Soto Tauto (beef soup cooked with salty fermented soybean and chili). You can Eat with white rice or Rice cake, your choice. I Love it so much. So recommended.

Hidden gem culinary in town, located in small alley. The dish is delicious and flavourful. Many variety of ingredient to choose yourself. The price is quite pricey but worth it. Place is quite comfortable for dine-in and clean. The parking is not available for cars (must park outside on the main road and walk on foot ~50 meters. Recommended for you who like Soto.

One of the best and legendary tauto. Tauto is soto with tauco. It's a traditional local dish in Pekalongan. Taste is very unique and delicious. Not for everyone though.nnKunawi is a very humble shop, a typical legendary food in Indonesia. Must try.nnPark you car on the side of the road and walk to the small street (gang).

Soto tauco is very common in Pekalongan city, still Soto Kunawi is one of the legends.nThey maintain the authenticity of the taste. It is very delicious. If you visit Pekalongan, don't forget to stop by.
