People harbor Sorong

Noting to rate really. It's a harbour to get to the other islands like Waisai. I took a taxi from the airport to the harbour for 100,000 rupees.nI bought a VIP ticket for ferry but there is really no difference between the VIP and economy tickets except the price. So save your money.nWhen I came from Waisai to Sorong, there were lots of taxi drivers who try to get customers. I thought I would pay again 100,000 rupees to the airport but the driver insisted that it was 150,000 rupees when I got to the airport. Was I cheated or that's how it was, not sure. Ferries operate well, leave the harbour usually 30mins after their scheduled time so no panic.

make sure you make a bid before ordering yellow taxi here because sometimes they would try to rip you off. a normal rental price of that yellow taxi should only cost you around IDR 50,000-70,000 for one car to go for like 5 kilometers ride or to some nearest hotel (like fave hotel). if the price is too high, you can walk a bit to the main road and order another yellow taxi there, (IDR 50k for one car, or just IDR 5K for one person if you don’t mind mixed up together with locals during the trip).
