Very basic, rather grubby area where we caught the bus to Parapat. Took 4,5 hours due to many stops for passengers. Bus was aircon and driver ok. Rp40 000 per person for Medan to a short walk to Parapat for the ferry to Tuktuk on Samosir Island.
