Devgarh Fort Chhindwara

The fort is good to see. More maintenance is needed. Information regarding the fort is very well given. Surrounding nature and view are beautiful It was once the capital of the Gondwana Dynasty. You have to walk around 1.5 km on the hill so be prepare for it.

It's situated on a hill which is about 1.5 km from the village Deogarh. We need to walk. Its one of the monuments of national importance declared by ASI. Only ruins are left in the fort. But still a must visit place. It's adventurous to be there. Places like Hathi Khana, Moti Tanka, Badal Mahal, Raja Ki Baithak, Masjid, Burj, Khazana, Nakkarkhana, Hammam are still there which reveal us the past of Gond King Jatba and his history.

Fort is in little bit devastated condition, govt should look into this to make it a good historical spot. The village is very much clean and lush green everywhere......enjoyed the village stay.

Who want to see Old historical place and Fort must see, and remember for reach this place u prepare minimum 2.5 km mountain tracking .
