What a lovely place! Rooms and gardens are maintained so well. Very clean and spacious rooms. Anita Ma'am is very sweet and takes care of the customers really well. Prem, the caretaker is very kind and helpful. We really miss this place.

Simply the Most Beautiful Scenic and In A Quiet Location in Raj Bagh Area of Srinagar Not Very Far from Dal lake This Homestay is Ultimate in Deluxe Category ..And is Run By a Elderly Indian Hindu Panjabi Lady..The Lawns of this .homestay are a Blissful Sight to watch and Walk and Relax in..The Service is . Excellent and the Food is Very Tasty. And Made as per our Requirements This Homestay is Value for Money

We stayed at Mahatta Home Stay during our short visit to Kashmir in Feb 2018. It was truly an amazing experience. Our host, Anita aunty is a very wonderful and caring person and she personally saw to it that we had all the facilities we required. She also helped us with places that we could visit and also arranged vehicle for us. The food is pure vegetarian and excellent, both in quality as well as taste... The rooms are super spacious, very cozy and the interiors are tastefully done. The hospitality was wonderful and overall, we had a really wonderful experience at Mahatta. Initially, we had booked at a different place for the second night of our stay, but we had such a wonderful experience at Mahatta, that we went back to stay there... We would definitely recommend it 100%...
