The Thistle Lodge

One of the first house on mall road, Shimla. This is a Heritage property, situated at a very prime location. One can take a walk to mall road and go to ridge and church. Perfect for a family or group of four, the property also has its private garden which is very rare in a property on mall road. The heritage structure and architecture is still intact and you get the feeling as soon as you enter the property. Having said all that for me the biggest advantage is the location, it's right above Victory tunnel.

Awesome place to be staying in Shimla. It's like living in your very own apartment, being taken care of by a family member , the spirited Namita ji. We thoroughly enjoyed the conversations with her, which were very insightful about life in Himachal and Shimla in particular. Go here with your family, and enjoy the great weather. Mall road is just a short walk away (a bit of huff and puff due to the endemic Shivalik slopes), so you have easy access to great foodie places. (Many even deliver to the lodge). Highly recommended home stay in Shimla.

Theee best property, theee best location and theee best host (Namita & Pankaj). They prove taxi service as well. Feel like home & a must stay place. 3 mins walk to mall road, 2 mins walk to parking and a clear view of valley. I stayed for 3 nights and never felt that i'm away from home. Thnks again Namita for your great hospitality and an awesome experience we've had staying with you.
