The Oaktree House

Overall a great experience. But would like to point out a few things: 1. Due to low occupancy a few food items were not available. 2. My wife had booked it for my bday and asked for decoration, only basic decoration with a few baloons was done. 3. Asked them for a cake as well, which they provided but charged extra and the cake was no where worth 500 bucks.

Thanks a lot The Oaktree House team for making our family trip memorable .The stay was excellent! The staff,rooms and the balcony view all were really great. And special thanks for providing us Jain food.

The Oaktree House is a hidden gem you should definitely consider on your next trip to Shimla. -Great service. Shout out to Mr. Bhagat Ram. -Great rooms. Cosy, clean and well furnished. -Great food. All items were made fresh to table. -The location is some 15 mins off the main mall road lift but is an easy drive/taxi ride. Would surely stay here the next time!

I've been to Shimla a few times and always preferred living in the city centre or before the city centre and that is the only reason I missed this little beautiful gem. It is a boutique hotel with around 10 rooms. The staff is exceptional and the food feels like it's home made. I loved every part of that hotel and the room. This is around half a km after the Radisson blu in Shimla. You should definitely go and book this for your trip.
