Amazing scenic place. Can be travelled by both car and bike and reservoir road is also good although the road is a bit narrow. Around 15kms (approx) from the Angul Bus Stand and the roads are a bit tricky (turns) as per the map. Best time to travel is in the morning or in the afternoon as the place will have less crowd and pictures will also turn out to be good.

It's a quiet nice place....but a bit lonely, not family or kids friendly. You could visit if you want...and enjoy the scenic nature, but have to leave early because at dam there's no place for resting or food or water or anything else.
