Louisville Zoo

We absolutely love the Louisville Zoo! There is always lots to see and do. Clean environments, clean exhibits, and friendly, helpful staff are some of the things that help make this a great place to visit, for everyone. I'm a big fan of the way the zoo has taken a stance of being a rescue, helping animals that need a safer location and help.nnThe activities for children and adults are wonderful. Throughout the year they'll have child specific a activities to educate and entertain. The wild lights exhibit was absolutely gorgeous I've never seen anything quite like it! We got there early to see the animals my only disappointment was that many of the animals were off display especially my favorite the elephants. But I was overcome by The majestic beauty of the polar bear which I didn't even know would be there. Mask wearing was forced throughout the park and it was not overcrowded on a weeknight.

Wow! What a zoo! We are from FL but we visited this zoo during a special Wild Lights event. It was amazing! Such a fun experience with lots to see. My kids really enjoyed it and they had great interactive stops along the way that kept the kids thrilled. I would love to come see this incredible place during the day too! It really is amazing. Be sure you see the snow leopard! It has a fun tunnel it likes to walk through that goes over the sidewalk!

I know that times have been hard and everything but they really need to work on the green life around there especially in the zebra exhibit those little babies are living on some gravel. The tiger is absolutely beautiful and spend the whole time perched up on a rock meowing on like a ferocious house cat and the seal is very interactive the kids absolutely loved both. But as a mom I could see where those poor babies need some love.

Haven't been for a while. Went to the 2021 light displays event. Awesome. Will come back during the day for animals. Daughter loves the zoo. I can't ever give 5 stars because hills and valleys too long. Athletic then maybe 5 stars for you.
