Loved walking through this zoo! It’s very well planned out. During my experience it started raining really hard but my girlfriend and I continued to walk through the zoo! I think our experience was more fun with the rain and all! It’s a good place to go to kill some time and enjoy something that’s not super exhausting.

So many exhibits are closed but prices are the same.

I recently walked through the zoo with my parents (the first time without my own children) and it was wonderful. I am impressed with their creativity in keeping the zoo open during the pandemic, and each trip I see something new and so enjoy the changing seasons as I walk along their paths. I highly recommend the Woodland Park Zoo for an all day activity or just an hour walking around with your coffee in hand.

I’ve been coming to this zoo since I was little, and now I can bring my son. The zoo layout is fantastic and definitely big enough to get your daily steps in. The exhibits are fantastic and the variety of animals is definitely worth the trip. We bought annual passes which I’m super thankful for since during some of our visits there were very few animals out which made for a very empty visit (gorillas, rhinos, elephants, zebras were nowhere to be seen, including the indoor exhibits. Orangutans were in the outer exhibit hiding under blankets but none were in the indoor exhibits either). I totally get with the weather and other factors that it varies who will be out and about but it would be nice if they had some kind of red light green light system on their website so before families pack up everything and go they can see if it’s worth going that day.nnNevertheless, I’m looking forward to many more zoo visits ☺ufe0f
