Mangalore

Great place. Very clean. Everything is very easily accesible. The railways has done a superb job at making sure it is managed efficiently. The stalls on the platform are also great. Good food as well. The foot over bridge is a little narrow though.

Mangalore is one best place to live in South india as far of my knowledge. The language and the way I was brought up in mangalore was unique. It was so difficult for me to move at from that city when I had to move out for my job. Definitely a lot of memories to carry within from Mangalore Central railway station.

Mangalore Central (MAQ) is an old station under Southern Rilway and is still maintained well. Though it sees ower traffic than Mangalore Junction (MAJN), the station is iconic termini, right in the centre of the city.nThe waiting rooms are well maintained and collect a small user fee for transit passengers. The retiring rooms are awesome to and provide good transit accommodation.nAuto rickshaws and taxis are available in plenty outside the station and the main bus stand is less than a km away.

This railway station is maintained well and clean too. But the staff there can improve their service to the new people entering Mangalore.
