after long periods of year ,train is available now, Thiruvarur -karaikudi ...it comes to this station, morning 11:15 and it reach 2:15 at karaikudi , and it return 2:30 from karaikudi ,it reach pkt @5:30 pm

surrounding 100 kilometres is one of the best railway station

I love Pattukkottai. I studied from 1st Standard to 11th Standard here. Again after my graduation I served as Graduate Assistant for two years , one year at Govt Girls High School and one year at Govt Boys High School during 1966-67 and 1967-68. Nadiamman Temple will always be there on my itinerary whenever I visit Pattukkottai.
