Kanteshwar temple is one of very old temples with history of many centuries. Though main deity is Shiva, Brahma and Vishnu are also here. Shiva is in form of Linga. Vishnu and Brahma are as carvings. There are also Ganesh, Parvati, Hanuman. There are few Shiva Lingas in mandapam for devotees to worship closely. Spacious with many trees and peaceful to spend good spiritual time

History of Kanteshwar temple..nKanteshwar Temple was constructed by the Satavahana king Satakarni II for the Jains. Later during Kakatiya period the temple was converted as a Shiva temple. Probably the oldest temple in Nizamabad. And also very powerful.
