Lemon Tree Hotel, Sohna Road, Gurgaon

The hotel is perfect for weekend gateway. This is not my first visit, their Citrus cafe never disappointed me. The place feels clean and sanitized. Currently out of 8 only 2 floors are operational. You can get free upgrade to a next category room or sometime they charge 500rs (only during this covid situation) ,normally the suites are expensive. The best is to get all meals included during booking, now a days the cost including taxes and all meals is around 4600.

Over rated. Been there twice post Covid. Not allowing visitors to meet guests. Is it what hospitality industry is about ? Harassing people in the name of norms set to counter COVID19 is so not cool. It was better when they were rendered close. Not happening for me again. Felt embarrassed when I had to let a close associate of mine go back without offering a drink. Also who charges for a proper glass to drink whiskey or cutlery to eat food. I can go on n on but that's it.

I had the utter worst experience staying at this particular lemon tree, I was celebrating my birthday just trying to have a good time for which i had booked 3 rooms. For 5 people. As soon as I checked into the hotel the first thing I noticed was the ac was not working I had complained 3 times but I got no reply back , moreover I believe oyo has better service than lemon tree , they took 45 min and multiple reminders to get a couple of glasses and this is not even where my bad experience starts. There was a complete negligence towards most of my basic needs which anyone would expect from the hotel room amongst which was the ac not working the entire night . If this does not feel like an issue to you beware you might find random 40 year old drunk uncles in towels roaming the corridors and trying to harass you . This property is one of the most unsafe hotels iv visited, with no regard for guests basic needs . When complained to the manager I was assured with a warm heart I would be compensated for the extra room I was forced in to paying for and would receive a call from the manager when that would happen . I had set my hopes up too high as I had to call him twice in to days just to ask if he had a chat with the guest who were making us uncomfortable and now my calls are being ignored . Messed up with the food order various times. Service needs to get a lot better. Rooms are nice and clean but it's the service that we had a big problem with.
