Very beautiful, scenic and somewhat serene. A short drive from hustle and bustle of the city, this place will calm your mind and the short trip is enjoyable as well. The descent from valley will take you to Patratu Dam, where you can sit and spend some time with family and friends and can enjoy a calming boat ride. Palani waterfall is also nearby and is a very good spot to visit during monsoon. The best part is the valley roads and the greenery all around.

Great place to visit in Jharkhand. Patratu valley has set up its own credibility as a tourist destination. However, The Jharkhand Government could make this place better by setting up a few guest houses/restaurants near to the dam and arrange for steamer boats, playground for children etc. Overall a great place to visit for Nature Lovers!
