Megalith Prehistoric Monument

It would definitely have been a very big and very important task for people of that time to raise all these stones via their 3rd axis and all in circular manner. If you go now you might see only 3 of them standing. 2 support by cement by archeological department of India and marked as M1 and M2. And the 3rd stone still standing after ages marked as B stone. All other stones have fallen to ground or destroyed and even some names written. But still some inscriptions are preserved if you see precisely, they are marked also. Today also, it's very difficult to move. Don't try to move. But it's massive, try to imagine how they would have made all these Big mega stones stand in a circular pattery long long back without equipments. Before British, before Mughals. It must would have ment something more than their life that's why they did it. It must would have been used for something spritual. Still *once in a year* some practices are done there.nnMy starts are based on my experience. I personally enjoy places like these which reminds us that we may think that the task we are doing is very important and will change the world. But we are here on this planet only for few 50-60 years. But these places remind us that many people have lived and walked on the same place we are now living.

The misfortune of this monument lies in the fact that this place is in Jharkhand and that too in Barkagaon region where the government's only priority is Coal Mining. This ancient historic place deserves much better treatment than what it is subjected too right now.

Waste.. does not deserve any stars. Nothing but two stones encroached all around by Petty tea stalls
