My first trip to North East is to Guwahati for Brahmaputra River Pushkar.. so very randomly picked Tusti Homestay as it is close to the river and all the ghats. Both owners(wife&husband) and their admirable hospitality to meet all odd hour requests of ours.. Arriving at 5 am and wanting to be at a temple again too early the next day... They truly made it home away from home. Definitely exceeded expectations for the price charged in terms of Safety, Cleanliness and Ability to guide a guest around a new place. Thanks to both of you and I will certainly visit again!!

I booked a homestay@Tusti, as I wanted to feel like ‘at home’, and that is what my stay @Tusti was “just like at home”. Now about the place, the room was as expected very clean, washroom clean and equipped with all needed toiletries, location is near to the Brahmaputra River bank, and market places nearby, place is well connected with bus/auto/cabs etc. in addition to that as I opted for homemade food, I got awesome food, which had traditional Assamese dishes. Last but not the least about the host, Mrs. & Mr. Samar were exceptional hosts, they helped me in all possible ways, which was very much needed as I was new to this place, all thanks to them, and I am hoping to meet them again in Nov. If you visit is June, Guwahati is very humid so be prepared. Ambuvachi@Kamakhya was amazing :)
