I was in this power house in the year 1991 to 1992 and stayed at Surangani up to 1995. I always remember the days I have passed there. It was my memorable period in my life. I have a great wish to visit the place again with my family because so many memories with this place still make me nostalgic.

In 2004 I could explore all the plant area during the energy audit study conducted by CPRI. I was one of the team member who was involved in this activity. Also we can met some keralites who was working there from starting of NHPC and even newly joined. They have shared their living and travelling experience with us and it was so strange on that time. bacause there was no much transportation and facilities and the area was totally remote place.
