Beautiful houseboat. It's one of the top luxurious houseboats in dal lake with six rooms. Other houseboats have just two or three rooms but this one is huge. We just loved staying their. The owner Mr Fayaz is so courteous. The staff is very kind and helpful. Truely kashmir is Paradise. The people are amazing and so helpful. Will love to come there again with my family and definitely going to stay in mother india houseboat. Thankyou for making our trip so amazing and memorable.

These cunning,disrespectful people are running their houseboats with names Switzerland, Navratan, S group of houseboats. They would ask for money at arrival afterwards they wont even talk with you properly. No service was provided even water. Breakfast was denied because i changed to costlier boat. Their washroom was poorly managed. They would not hesisihe to call you dimwit etc if you asked for free crossing to houseboat because you took shikara ride from another ghat.

Stayed for 2 days. Very spacious rooms. Food was excellent including the service. Mr. Fayaz, the owner is a very humble and courteous person. Mr. Karim and his courteous assistant looked after us very well. Would highly recommend this Houseboat. The view from this Houseboat is scenic.nThey also provided us with a vehicle at a reasonable cost for the rest of our trip In Kashmir. The driver Mr. Vashir and the guide at gulmarg Mr. Bashir were very helpful, very courteous, always smiling and polite.
