The first observation: unparalleled hospitality! This property is run by mr. Altaf Chapri and his son, Hanan Chapri. Altaf has been in business for decades now and the hospitality he extends, can undoubtedly help extend your stay. In addition to listening to phases of history, as experienced by those that have seen Kashmir evolve, which his father can mesmerize you with, while you sip on some amazing tea on the deck area. The second aspect: an incredible view! This houseboat has a strategic location that opens out to both the Gulmarg range and the Kargil range on either side. Third: housekeeping and food: Maqbool bhai, a welcoming and humble individual about whom the first thing you'll notice is : how proactive and warm he is towards his guests. If you can request him to cook some chicken up for you, you'll most likely ask him to make it every single day, for the rest of your stay. With my schedule, as is, I was working through my entire 9 day stay there and the Wi-Fi was amazing. Altaf bhai followed up on the speed, practically every day and was willing to set up an entirely new router should the need arise. It felt like home, this stay was that of , with a family. The rooms are extremely well maintained with respect to cleanliness, heating and hot water supply..making your stay, combined with the in- house shikara, operated by Farooq bhai - a memory worth making! Highly recommended a stay, rather a long stay at the Floating Heritage group. I'm surely planning another run for a month!

thank you for all the complimentary services and the upgradation of rooms provided.Stay was so comfortable and we had the best experience there at this Houseboat. Altaf ji is the most humble n generous person we met.. and staff Mr Gul is an amazing person.. he took care of each n every little thing.. food was awesome and we had a pleasant stay.. We would highly recommend this place. Room heaters were available in every room.. it has a big lobby n big dining room.. property is beautiful n perfect for families, couples m friends group.

Loved my stay, very good location and service.

Had a worst bitter experience. No proper care taker in boat house. Hot water is provided only one time in the morning. If u ask next time dey will give u in bucket. You can't use washroom properly.no drain point available in washroom. No charging points available in room number 101.very expensive and not worth for money. My kind advice is to not book this house boat and waste ur time and money.
