Elephant camp, Thekkady

Around 15 elephants are there in the camp. We can ride on the elephants. It is located very close to the parking area of periyar tiger reserve. The cost for ride for one person is rs 500. It is a bit costly. But the ride is enjoyable, especially for kids. You can pose for photos with the elephants.
