I have no words to describe its beauty. When May arrived here, Mukaji was surprised to find such a beautiful ghat, the marsh water of Maa Narmade. Whose people were cheering. Is a very nice and historical place

A must visit place to see the simplicity in which Ahilyabai's life was. She ruled for good 30years but her lifestyle was simple and dynamic. A lot of history is available in this temple so make sure to take some time and go through it. A devoted lover of Lord Shiva you will find numerous Shiv Lingas in this temple of various sizes. Photos are allowed so couldn't take one.

Historical place fort on the River Narmada.Superb location and the Maheshwar Fort is a must visit place. The view from the Fort balconies is mesmerizing.
