Rosaville is a quaint historic B&B a little away from the hustle-bustle of the main town. Situation besides IIM Shillong, this place offers a home-stay feel with additional amenities that ensures you would not feel the lack of a big hotel. The staff is very helpful, the rooms are well maintained and and have polished wood flooring. Heaters are provided for cold nights. As this is not a hotel, one needs to place food and beverage orders in advance, as indicated in their menu. Food is tasty and have generous portions. This is a historic place and one can view the many photos on the walls of the family who owns the place. There is ample space for car parking. It is a definately a place worth staying at for a charming old-time break from work. They have rooms in the main house building and an amnex next to it, all within a huge sprawling and green compound. An SBI ATM is available round the corner about 50 MTR from the Rosaville gate towards the IIM Shillong entrance.nNote: there is another hotel in Shillong called Roseville, so don't get confused between the two.
