Umiam Water Sports Complex

Its a beautiful place to spend time..The water is blue and the ambience its eye-catching. The entry fee for one adult is 50rs but guys u have to carry your own food and water as there is no restaurant inside the park nor any facility for drinking water.nThe water sport is a must try here.

Place is really beautiful but the guard's behavior is not good

Beautiful scenic view and very calm place with full of water. Need more attention of Meghalaya Tourism department to develop this place for tourists.

Umium Water Sports Complex located about 16 km north of Shillong in the state of Meghalaya. It was created by damming the Umiam River in the early 1960s. Now it is a popular tourist attraction. It is also a popular destination for water sports like- kayaking, water cycling, scooting, and boating. Umium Lake is a must visit place in Shillong.

Must visit for everyone. A beautiful serene lake with breathtaking views of the mountains, greenery and the lovely blue water. Boating is a must do here. There are also well developed gardens and play area making this a perfect place to visit for a memorable experience. Highly recommended for all age groups.
