Hotel Amar Villa

Hotel was very clean, spacious and comfortable. And we also get a beautiful view of the fort from the room. Staff members were very helpful and friendly. Also they serve food in the hotel and the quality was very good. Overall, we had a great stay at the hotel. Thank you.

Easy to locate.. Middle in the city, one can go anywhere in couple of minutes..Room n bathroom is spacious.. Staff is cooperative.. Food is delicious and Fort view from roof top restaurant in night is awesome.... Overall Good Property in Budget

It was a very pleasant stay, the host was very cooperative The rooms and hotel were clean and well maintained. Food was good. The rooftop restaurant was the best thing. They helped us with all the travel and sightseeing. Comfortable stay and value for money. Definitely recommend for solo traveller, family and couples

We booked the hotel via Goibibo. The room we booked had been shown to have a good view of the fort, but the room we were actually given was actually on the ground floor with no windows at all. Further, this room seemed permeable to all kinds of outside sounds - people, dogs and whatnot well beyond midnight.nThis would have been understandable if other similar rooms were booked already but we hardly saw 3-4 guests during our two-day stay there, but I guess they were saving those for people who came directly to the hotel so they could extract more money from them. (When we asked them later why they did not offer us better rooms, they answered that it was because WE did not ask!!)nnSince we had indeed chosen this hotel for the view, we tried to accomplish this by trying to have a good dinner but it seemed that they had copied the menu (and the prices) of an older, better hotel, the chef did not have much practice in making any kind of food. We were also not offered breakfast the day we arrived.nnI would recommend that if anyone stays here they do not expect anything and they might be pleasantly surprised. Also, eating here is not recommended despite the view.nnUpdate:nI see that the hotel has no compunctions about lying categorically as seen in their reply - but there isn't much that we, the little people, can do about that. I do agree with them on point - I hope they have no more (poor and gullible) guests like us.nnTo clarify, we did not ask them even a free tea from them, let alone dinner since we had already made a mistake spending ₹590 for an awful dinner at their place (and this payment was done digitally and hence can be proved).

Staff behaviour is humble n soft. Cleaned rooms. Tasty food. Good service. But their contacts n suggestions are not good. Don't book their driver he is very roud n lazy.
