Tilon Ki Pol Gadisar Lake

A beautiful lake having Chattries and temples.

Tilon-Ki-pol is an artistically carved yellow sandstone which is the entrance to the Gadisar Lake. Tilon Ki Pol is the place for photography and boating in traditional dresses of Rajasthan. You can go shopping to purchase desert items. You can see beautiful Jharokha built at this gate with excellent traditional handwork.

A lovely tourist place in jaisalmer city. Don't forget to feed the fishes available in lake.

Very nice lake. I had been to the place in October. The wasn't very hot there. It depicts the real heritage sculpture. One can visit this place between Oct to Feb when the temperature is not very high.

You will enjoy this place in the evening....yellow sandstone structure on Gadisar lake.. Boating also available.. but for that most of the time you will face a long queue.. so be patience and purchase your ticket early.. In spite of self paddle go for ferryman based boats you can enjoy better and he will tell you the history of gadisar lake Tilon Ki Pol
