Best research institute witnessed till now... Outstanding campus area, food habits, anti-ragging facility, library complex, biome area, research complex, lecture hall as well as auditorium. I think this is the best place to experience science and research in India... Love you IISER-K

Good place but has a lot of snakes. This place is not in kolkata so don't be fooled by name, it's a long ride of two hours to reach to this place from sealdah station and one and half hour travel from dum dum airport. Rest you'll find out by reaching the place and staying here but in general people looking for a green and peaceful campus like it and people looking for movies like college life don't like it.

Going on construction of AIIMS, it's still 1-2 yrs left to running the hospital. No doubt it's a great contribution of Central govt. People soon going to got its valuable benefit. During my night patrolling duty, i visited the place..

The Name IISER-Kolkata could be misleading because it's 60km from Kolkata. Other than that it's a fantastic institute and a great place to actually learn and get to feel Science. Amazing institute
