Such a beautiful aquarium! The water is so clean, and the staff is really attentive to cleanliness within the petting areas. The facility had a really nice flow & lots of exhibits to see. Definitely purchase your tickets and time slots online before you get there, it really saves on time. Kids loved seeing all the different variety of animals and fish, especially the otters & penguins. We missed the sea lions, because the exhibit is under construction, but got to see a video of the behind the scenes which was really cute. So glad we were able to visit!

OdySea has been open for about 5 years.nMay 2021 was the first time I had visited. It is post-pandemic, so masks for visitors seemed to be optional. Most everything is open to see in the aquarium, but not everything is open to do. There are certain times when they do close some of the interactive exhibits for cleaning and social distancing.nIt takes about 2 hours to walk through and see everything, although you can stay at an exhibit as long as you wanted to during business hours.nnEarly day tickets are about $40 for adults and $30 for kids OR you can go after 4:30pm and get $25 tickets. They close at 7pm, so you would still have plenty of time to see everything.nnThe prices might seem high, but it is probably VERY expensive to maintain all of the tanks and keep all of the creatures healthy. There are more than just fish, however, the tanks are very well maintained and lovely to look at. They have small educational info boards by all of the fish, birds, and animals to identify the species and they also offer a $5 audio tour.nnThere are other things to do at this complex like the Butterfly Wonderland, the Maze, and Dinosaurs, but they are all separate from the aquarium and have their own fees/ticket prices. Check their website for specials and bundles before you go.

Definitely NOT what I expected, after paying what we paid to get into this place, we literally walked around to area's of the aquarium that didn't have much fish in them.nnThe coolest ud83dude0e experience was walking into the bathroom seeing a shark as I was washing my hands. I figured this place might be wonderful except little did I know the highlight of our entire time was the bathroom thrill of a shark!nnWe took the odysea submarine ride which we were hoping to see the sea lions but unfortunately for us [and others as well] their habitats/homes were being refurbished which was cool for them of course but not for us! We got to watch a 3 minute video instead about it. Complete let down.nnI wish we'd known before hand what was going on because I surely wouldn't have spent nearly 200$ on 3 adult and 1 child tickets simply outrageous for, especially since the topper or icing on the cake was...nGift shop had most girl and little girl souvenirs, or clothing.nnWe of course have sons, they had nothing in the way of shirts for boys it was completely remarkable. My 13yo had picture day the following day I figured to get him a shirt from the aquarium, NOPE! Not even anything in a little size was amazing for my step-son.nnI leave 3 stars for 1 reason because overall we made it a great experience and my son's even though my partner & I knew we got played we still made the best of it & had an amazing time. They enjoyed it, we all made memories & that's what it's all about anyway!

This place is awesome. They are very informative about conservation and the endangerment of these beautiful fish in our oceans. It's a very reasonable price for all that's included (you can pet the stingrays and sturgeon. Also there is a rotating tour at the end of the aquarium), especially knowing that you are funding a place that rescues endangered and not so endangered sea critters. This would also be a great place to take your kids during the summer as it is all indoors and there is a lot of cool fish to see! Would definitely visit again

We really enjoyed this place. I love that they provided wheelchairs/strollers if needed at no extra cost, you just gotta leave an ID. We asked for two wheelchairs for my mom and auntie to help them get around better. It was nice to know they could enjoy the Aquarium without having to suffer from all the long walking. Thank you very much for the accommodation. The Aquarium itself was one of the best ones I've seen. Oh yeah, go checkout their front restrooms too...ud83eudd88ud83dudc1fud83dudc20
