This is the government residence of one of the top officers in the city. The residence was constructed during the British Rule and dates back to 1924. The house is well and maintained by a staff of 20 people. There is a marked badminton court with poles and light for gameplay after dark. There is also ample space for farming and gardening. Therefore, allowing a fresh and organic supply of vegetables. Also, there is a cow shed which can used for breeding milch animals and obtaining organic milk. The water supply in the farmland is through a tubewell. There is a separate transformer for the residence, thereby ensuring a constant voltage in summers. This is definitely one of the best government residences that I have ever come across.
