Surely one of the best to visit in Bankura. There are hotels near by, so you can enjoy the place very well. You can ride boat, or go on a drive, best time to visit is winter, weather and the atmosphere will be lovely in that time.

The road over the dam is 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) in length. In the middle, there is a small hillock called Paresnath hill where several statues of Jain and Hindu deities are kept in the open air. These statues are recovered during digging while the dam was built. There is another Jain statue lying at the bottom of the Pareshnath hill.[1]

Wow.. what a beautiful place.. just visit the place 30/10/20.. very beautiful natural place. This place is located on Mukutmonipur,Bankura.. it's a hill area. All road conditions is very good. Hotel and restaurant are available here. Also it is picnic spot. Road view is also very very beautiful. You can go this place only by road. No rail station is available around 50km. So once you must visit at this place in life. Finally is like this place very very very much..
