Oldest and biggest librabry of the district Bankura, which is run by state government. Huge stock of books, journals and newspapers on varities subject. Any one can read books or others here. Library also lend books to its member. Very much quiet and beautiful surrounding. Situated at a comfortable place of the town, that can be reached easily.

Good place but not properly maintained. Stocks are old. I used to visit there during 2005-2008.
