Ballal Dhipi was a temple of 12th century AD.It was named of king Ballal Sena.Ballal Sena was the notable king of Sena dynasty.Ballal Dhipi is located near Bamanpukur Bazar on way to mayapur at a distance of about 16 km from Krishnagar.The excavation work was started here by the Archaeological Survey of India between 1982-83 and 1988-89.In this place,a unique structural complex found which covering nearly 13,000 sq.Stucco heads,Terracotta human and animal figurines,copper utensils and other objects,iron nails etc. have been found from excavation.It is an important historical place and tourist place of Nadia.
