মারমু পাহাড়

অসাধারণ একটি স্থান। পাহাড় জঙ্গল ঘেরা। তবে জনবসতি প্রায় নেই বললেই চলে।

The state of West Bengal at one end of the Marmu Hills and the state of Jharkhand at the other end. Quite a secluded place. With so few tourists coming, nature has yet to retain its boundless beauty. Although in small numbers, forest department officials in the two states say that occasionally forest roosters, wild rabbits, leopards, etc. are seen here.

The Marmu Hills are the natural border of West Bengal and Jharkhand. The natural beauty of this almost sparsely populated mountain is extraordinary. However, you only have to come here on foot or by renting a small car because public transport is not available here. The place to stay is the retiring room at Murree or Kotshila railway station.
