Sacred place for the Buddhists. This is the place where Countess Sujatha offered milk rice to Lord Buddha. Later that day Lord Buddha attained to Enlightenment.

Sujata donated the very first food (Kheer milk rice) to holy Buddha at this place after his long years of meditation. Every buddhist usually visit this place and pay respect to Sujata.nnYou will find many beggers and swindlers around this and many other holy buddhist places in Bihar. Please refrain from giving to child beggars. It is well known that local village people are struggling to send children to schools as they are bringing money to the family. Let's not encourage child begging, especially in the name of Lord Buddha. With you, we can help change the life of local people around these holy places. Lets pledge not to give. Giving should never be meant to spoil a life of child.

Small and peaceful temple. This area believes to be the place where Buddha and Sujata met. The temple is neat and clean. So many small kids around so you can enjoy seeing their smile and funny dance too.
