Very serene. Surrounded by small hills and trees makes it a good habitat for birds.

It's a unique experience to go on a boat in the backwaters at Palolem and witnessing the sea eagles diving right in front of u for the chiçken pieces.nGoa is generally kñwon for its beaches, but an excellent show of put up by the big birds like this is simply out of the world.nThe backwaters, the mangroves and the local fishermen putting their nets, to top it all the boatman Babu relates the place beautifully with the epic Ramayana.

This was an unexpected spot on our journey to Palolem!nThe backwaters home to the mangroves, otters and a lot of eagles, is also a prominent source of income to a majority of the locals.nOne should definitely have a boat ride in these backwaters during a high tide and get to know about some of their culture!nnOh and did I forget to mention that they feed some eagles during your visit here just so that you can enjoy some interesting eagle time!! ud83dude0bud83eudd2d
