The place is not clean. Open drains, routing vegetables, animal wastes lying around and smelling in some areas behind the butchers. The plusses are that you get cheap yet fresh ingredients. A good place to get some fresh economical groceries.

You can get a lot of stuff here from cooking items to trying out local drinks to quench your thirst to shopping for cheap but good shoes and clothes and small bakery to tea powders they have it all. They have a very narrow area to walk so gets a bit crowded but it's a good experience. And really fun .

Resourceful. But crowded on most days. Hygiene can definitely be improved. As spaces for sorting, maintaining stock etc do not seem to be provided many vendors do this task in the corridor spaces. Restricting movement. Otherwise it is mostly the same (mostly friendly) people.
