Best place to stay .serene ,peaceful place..nLocated at Hazratbal road on banks of nigeen lake...most amazing property...great hospitality and cleanliness...well cook food...best for the people who wants peace of mind from city life... property is located at Hazratbal road and not in place mention in Google map

Its not very often that you plan a trip to Jammu & Kashmir. After a good deliberation we decided to go to Srinagar on our honeymoon trip and reached out to Captain Hameed after a friend's suggestion. And I must say that was the best decision we took.nnCaptain Hameed have two awesome properties - houseboat & a cottage - both are pretty amazing and well maintained. We were driven around by Khalid who is Captain Hameed's nephew and he was very supportive in terms of showing us around, helping us understand their culture and ways of living which is very new and amazing for us to know.nnStrongly recommend Captain Hameed if you're planning your trip to J & K anytime soon.

Awesome stay at New Buckingham place Houseboat. Captain Hamid's crew treated us like a family. He made a point to visit us everyday and have a chat. He advised us on things to do in valley, places to visit, how much to pay, where to buy etc etc. I highly recommend it.

New Buckingham Palace, houseboat located at Nigeen Lake gives you wonderful experience of being at Kashmir. Location is quite peaceful with proper connectivity to different places via road and most amazing by Sikara ride. I opted for Sikara ride with family for Dal Lake view. Rooms are well maintained with excellent food which makes you feel at home always. We were in Srinagar in last week of Dec when temperature dips to quite low but houseboat rooms were well equipped with bed heater, room heater and hot water at washroom. I must mention the way Capt. Hameed Duno ( Houseboat Owner) has taken care of us with utmost affection and as family. He took utmost care of us during entire trip with very useful suggestions and guidance. I strongly recommend everyone to visit New Buckingham Palace, whenever they visit Srinagar and enjoy the hospitality of Capt. Hameed!!

I have booked new Buckingham palace , royal suite for my parents in 1st week of feb,2018 with captain hameed's personal xylo for airport transfers,pahalgam,gulmarg and local srinagar sight seeing.To be honest I was very sceptical about grand assertions of captain hameed ji about great services..nBut to be honest captain hameed remain true to each word of our deal and he, with khaled as tour guide cum service provider did every bit to make the stay comfortable.They readily provided anything needed like warm water ,tea/coffee etc with prompt service.They also managed to provide us a local sim card for mobile as my parents didn't have postpaid sim card.nBut few points to consider before you move on for Srinagar trip.Pahalgam trip , in my case cost me another Rs 3500 for another local taxi and pony rides,that was unexpected. Rooms are very neat and clean . But veg food options for breakfast and dinner were very limited, though served hot homely meals . Lastly hameed ji provide one of best services with reasonable prices, so 4.5 out of 5 points for New Buckingham palace services.
