Beautiful old remains of the erstwhile kingdom of the king of Mayurbhanj. Calm and serene atmosphere and a must visit for the people looking for a throwback on the past culture of Odisha and its people. Currently being maintained by the ASI, this place needs more attention for its proper care.

It is a very beautiful archeological site having mixture of ancient and mediaeval history of India.It is situated at the bank of Budhabalanga River.History of Pravu Sri Chaitanya, Odisha's king Gajapati Prataprudradev, rule of Bhanja Rulers and invasion of the Afghan, Mughals and Marathas are associated with this place.
