This project is in mulkalla village which is 6kms away from Mancherial district. This is a medium irrigation reservoir constructed on Ralivagu, a tributary of river Godavari. The water catchment area is around 132sq.kms and the reservoir has the capacity of 0.41TMC. Irrigation of around 3280 acres belonging to nearby villages, is handled based upon this reservoir. This project was inaugurated by Y.S.Rajashekar Reddy, the then Hon'ble CM for the combined state of Andhrapradesh in 2009.
