Main Government Hospital of Purulia District. The hospital is run by state authority of WestBengal.
It is District's old hospital. It is the only lifeline for the poor, village people.It is now declared Medical college & Hospital. I am very unhappy to see its outward condition. The buildings are age-old and they may collapse any time. The main building seems a risk for it is not repaired for long time. Ridiculously it is only painted upon damages. About cleanliness, only one word fits --'HELL'ud83dude22
This is popular as sadar hospital. This is just near the purulia bus stamd. So any one can go here by bus so easily. But the negative point is also that every time you have to tolerate the noise of vehicle. Moreover this is a distric level hospital. But there is no good arrangement. Any critical case refereed to bankura or ranchi or tata. There is lack of eauipement and doctors. For treatment this not a good place and I don't recoment it. If you have no financial problem then never go there, you can better treatment in bankura or tata
So much dirt created by patients party. Cleaning stuffs are not so much responsible at their work.nAmenities are very much limited. Over loading patients,nEspecially at birth section. One bed used for two and more patients.nAnd doctor and nurse ?? It's good to be not discuss about them.
