Jhiri Lake

A very eye-catching and soothing location which is nearly 200 meters from the main ring road is a full package of amazing view with lots of photography location. Must visit it if you are really fascinated about any reflection shots and spend your time watching the beauty of the location with your loved ones.

Nice clean water Lake, made up of carved rocks,nWater colour is green and easy to reach here because it is on ring road Ranchi and also weather around is good you can see blue sky and there is small lake also near by that is little dirty but you can find lotus in that and people wash cloths and took bath over there.nIf you you have SUV you can reach very near to LakenBut if you have sedan or hatchback you need to leave you car 200meters before lake.nPeople do picnic also here because I saw burn woodnMany peoples throw beer bottles & cold drink bottle but you don't have rights to throw all this in public please carry your waste with yourself.nThank you guys

The place is way too good scenery wise. Needs to be worked on it and it surely will be one of the most crowded tourist places in Ranchi. One can go with friend groups and for the first time they surely have to search a little as the roads are not good and it a little hard to find even with Google maps. I personally felt problem with safety a bit as it was too isolated. But I guess with more development and more people coming in, it will improve and will be a great spot for hangout or picnic.

It's basically a mine filled with rain water..so avoid going near cliffs and don't dare to enter the lake. Leave before sunset. Overall a good place to enjoy the scenic beauty..but with caution.

This place is peaceful, quiet and seems far from any civilization. It gave me a grim disquiet feeling as well. It's commonly known as a suicide point and the lack of tourists or people seem to point in that direction as well.nBut overall, it's a beautiful place to visit though probably not with any physically disabled person.
