A great way to escape the public crowd and enjoy a piece of history

4 cottages set in the lovely gardens surrounded by flora and fauna of the palace compound. Staying in the cottages you are also the guest of the Royal family yet at a comfortable distance to have your privacy and space. Staying here I experienced a wonderful hospitality of the host and the staff. The local Kadaknath chicken cooked in earthen pot over firewood was delicious. The staff was kind to show me the palace darbar hall and take me to the vegetable farms where we plucked bringals and ladies finger to be cooked for lunch.nAs you walk around the campus you meet the ducks in the pond and roosters wake you up with their morning baag.nJogging fishing painting reading cycling walking around the town and visiting nearby village and marketsnRock paintings. Gadiya pahar were the highlights.nnVery comfortable place to relax and unwind. Not a hotel but better than that.
