A nice landmark of jalakanya in roadmedian park has ⅘en way for indra gandhi statue. In its proximity ammamma choultry laxmisai nagar Tadakala bazaar centre etc are there. Much labourers wage earners throng and disperse many routes from this location. So many small shops selling different commodities groceries medicine hair dressers tea stalls schools available.Bus sharetaxis etc shuttle upto mypadu beach. Always much footfall. Love this area.

Jalakanya Bomma(Statue) has been replaced with the Statue of Indira Gandhi ( Former Prime minister of India) Around the time of 2017 and then to upto Now the Centre is Knows as Indira Gandhi Bomma(Statue) Center
