Completely cut of from the world a priestene Biosphere reserve. Anybody visiting there needs prior approval from the Government of India which is not easy to come by
This is so so so beautiful place in India
SCARCITY OF WATER. PEOPLE CAN'T EMPHASIZE IT.
Great Nicobar Biosphere Reserve is huge and encompasses the northern half of the Great Nicobar Island. This is where the Shompen tribe lives and hence nearly all of it it out of bounds except for a small road that goes in about a km from the Forest department gate at the entrance. You need permission from the FD to enter and you need to exit before 5pm. The road takes you to a Bird-watching spot which gives a good view of a valley and many bird species can be sighted. There is also a watch tower on a high point that gives you a good view of the Campbell Bay. There is a nature trail for the more serious wildlife watchers
This place so calm and quiet place....
Large number of ferns are present in this area......
And a best place for bird watchers
