A lovely place covered with plants to stay in the heart of Fontainhas (Goa's Latin Quarter). Its a guest house so its simple, but its fresh & its beautiful with small clean & comfortable rooms. The owner is a sweet and helpful lady. Her son Clifton was also very welcoming & friendly. Whole atmosphere here makes you feel at home and calm. Highly recommended. The pictures will not do justice to the beauty and wonderful stay we had here.

We found the Afonso guest house on google and decided to go there. The house is very well maintained, very classy and with old world charm. More than that the Afonso family is very warm and welcoming, they arranged many things for us and gave some good suggestions on our travel plans. The stay was very comfortable and we will always remember it.

It is an amazing place to stay in Goa. Surrounded by all plants and good vibe. And the Portuguese style architecture will make your soul blossom.nHospitality is up to the mark. Nothing can beat this place if you want peace of mind and soulful vacation.

The Afonso Guest House located in Fontainhas (The Latin Quarters) of Panjim, was one of the best stays that we have ever experienced. The hospitality of Mrs Afonso is second to none. The location, cleanliness, the services are all unparalleled. Most importantly the owners would go out of their way to help you out. We were in a bit of fix once when we were trying to book our cab and then again when we were trying to book for an RT PCR test. Mrs Afonso helped us during both. Highly recommended. Wish our stay was little longer. We hope to see you soon!!!

Wanted to take my time to write this review.nnThis has to be one of the coolest places I have stayed at in a while. Mrs. Afonso is absolutely amazing and a delight. SUPER friendly, extremely helpful and really helped make my stay so safe and comfortable.nnI was travelling solo and this was really really safe. Added bonus, it is close to all the key areas in Panjim.nnThe rooms are very clean and comfortable, pretty big too. Breakfast is available in case you wish to indulge.nnThere is a small terrace on the top of the villa, which is absolutely beautiful. I met some of the coolest people there and had some amazing conversations.nnI highly, highly recommend this place!
