One must visit this landmark sri Koteshwar Mahadev Mandir. I'd visited this Mandir in year 1976. Then this Mandir was in very bad shape,as during 1971-72 India- Pakistan war, kotewar Mahadev Mandir had become target of Pakistani war planes.Mandir was hit with bombs and I'd seen lots of bombing scares on Mandir. After30 years, present PM, then CM.of gujarat took up restoration of all the ancient Hindu Mandirs and so,this mandir, was selected for restoration,hence now, we see,one of the most beautiful place of Hindu pilgrimage spot on border area facing Arabian sea. One must visit this Mandir and also visit Fort of LAKHPAT Just 40 km, from fort of LAKHPAT we'r able to see Indo-Pak border with Arabian Sea on right side. Koteswar Mahadev Mandi(Temple), is very well developed Hindu pilgrimage place of Gujarat state.
